2026 Applications
Grade 1 2026 applications are regulated by the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) who determine the application-period for 2026 admissions.
Applications are via the online platform of the GDE at www.gdeadmissions.gov.za
Please download and complete the forms below, and return to Miss More or Ms. A. Manganyi at Ormonde Primary School.

Please ensure you have the following supporting documents ready when applying:
- Certified copy of unabridged birth certificate of application
- Certified copy of father's ID document
- Certified copy of mother's ID document
- Certified copy of both parents (Immigrants)
- Certified copy of vaccination/clinic card
- Original proof of residential address (utilities statement)
- Proof of parent's employment/ work address/es
Complete the application form online or at the school office
Submit all required documents
Attend the assessment (Grade 1-7 applicants)
Receive admission decision within 2 weeks
Pay registration fee to secure placement
Attend orientation session

Payment Options
Parents who settle their fees by March each year qualify for a 10% discount.
